Youth Recreational Climbing Program

Climbing Training for Kids

What's This Program About?

The Youth Recreational Climbing Program is a combination climbing instruction, physical conditioning, and character development program led by Instructor Timothy De La Cruz.

While specific instructional classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm, Youth Program Membership includes access to the gym while supervised by a parent, guardian, or other adult chaperone.

  • Open to climbers age 7-17
  • Minimum six (6) month autopay membership commitment of $99 per month.
  • Prorated dues, final month, and registration of $50 apply.
  • Registration includes Belay Instruction for a parent, guardian, or other adult chaperone.

Youth Program members who do not own their own gear may use rental gear at no cost on Tuesdays and Thursdays during class, but are required to rent gear to climb other days of the week.

Parents are encouraged to stay and watch and encourage their children and Club-mates during training. Often, a child's level of commitment reflects their parents'.
